Our Member Testimonials
"top class facilities, a club that I am proud to boast about, and a club that is extremely well run excellent staff in every part of the club, a gem."
"It is local and I consider it to be the best club around. I really like that there is such a full womens' ...section and I have plenty of people with whom I can play. Everyone is friendly. We could not have a nicer pro - Alan is wonderful and also his staff. Catering is usually good and coffee is not too expensive. The course is lovely parkland without big hills. I enjoy seeing the wildlife - deer, squirrels, foxes and birds like woodpecker and ducks. The clubhouse is very comfortable with a wonderful view - I could stay there all day. I guess I love my club!"
"Fabulous course, great club house, brilliant members."
"the course is excellent, the people who run it are professional, the clubhouse is a great place to use either for golf or entertaining family and friends, and all the staff from greens to bar and lounge are always happy to help i.e. a great place to be a member of."
"A well-managed and organised club with exceptional facilities."
"The emphasis you put on the younger members at our club, encouraging them with lessons early in the season. They are our future champions."
"A challenging parkland course, devoid of any lung-busting hills and possesses both character and charm. The ability to play a quick round of golf on a course that remains a challenge was a big draw for me, plus the excellent clubhouse and prestigious reputation of the club."
"The best thing about being a member of BCGC is the sense of belonging and when it is centred on a beautiful parkland golf course on land which once belonged to Bothwell Castle so much the better."
"The thing I like most about the club is the amount of nice people I have met since joining, both members and staff."
"BCGC is a great golf course with one of, if not the best clubhouses in the west of Scotland with fantastic facilities and a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We also have one of the best golf coaches in Scotland."
"Location - fellow members (particularly in sweep) - current course conditions - on-line booking - great pro-shop. Everybody in the office gets a laugh at the format and vocabulary in the 'banter' created by Jim Callaghan....."
