Close Finish in Bothwell Castle Boys Open 2017

  • 10 July 2017
There was a very close finish to this year's Boys Open at Bothwell Castle GC with only one shot separating the top three prize winners. There was a good turn out of competitors from a number of golf clubs in the Lanarkshire area.

The net first prize went to Craig Crawford of Carluke Golf Club with a winning score of 64. Second place went to Mark Griffin of Bothwell Castle on a score of 65 based on the best inward half score. In third place also with a score of 65 was Adam Morrison of Strathaven Golf Club.

The winner of the scratch trophy with a very creditable one under par score of 69 was Scott McPherson.

Thank you to our Professional Alan McCloskey and his assistant Innes Ferguson for all their work in organising the event.
