Colin secures home win in Bothwell Castle Quaich

  • 7 August 2017
Club Champion Colin Baird wins the Bothwell Castle Quaich for the first time, to hold both of the club's major tournaments at the same time, if only for a few weeks. However, he is already through to the final of this year's club championship.

In a very close finish, Colin's two round score of 141(71,70) wins the trophy based on the better second round score from Graham Rankin of Drumpellier who also had a total of 141(70,71). With 4 other players scoring 142 for the two rounds, third place went to Calum Fyfe who had the afternoon's best score of 69.

The net prize went to Oliver Sheeran of Bothwell Castle with a total of 141, Craig Taylor second with 143 and Simon White of Bothwell Castle claiming third spot with a score of 145.
