Few golf clubs, even in Scotland, have the level of golfing facilities that we have to offer at Bothwell Castle Golf Club. In tranquil surroundings on flat land adjoining the 13 century castle, our tree lined parkland 18 hole golf course is a delight to play for golfers of all ages and ability.

"It's great that Bothwell Castle is investing in improving the golf course. The recent changes introducing some feature bunkers, mounding and an open ditch will make it a more enjoyable challenge for both members and visitors" - Stephen Gallagher - Scotland’s No1 Golfer

The golfing facilities at Bothwell Castle have continually been improved with marked developments in the last 10 to 15 years. The re-positioning and building of a new clubhouse at the centre of the course in 2004 has been a catalyst for further development of the golfing facilities.

Significant changes to the course in 2013/14 have greatly enhanced the appearance and challenge of the inward 9 holes. Further enhancements to the course are underway under the guidance of Paul Kimber at Kimber Golf. View our hole by hole guide or our picture gallery to see the full course and facilities.

Our practice facilities have been improved with a new putting green and the combining of the old one with the old chipping green has doubled the size of our short game practice area. A 2 bay driving net is nearby. We also have a separate long game practice area.
