Outstanding Scoring in 2016 Braidwood Cup
There was some outstanding scoring in this year's competition including 5 rounds under par and almost half the field reducing their handicap over the 4 days of competition
The Braidwood Cup winner with a net score of 244 over 4 rounds was Ben Paterson. Second Place went to Gabriel Hughes on 251. Mark Griffin was third with with 260 and Mitchell Wilson 4th with 268.
The best gross score was by Gabriel Hughes with an outstanding 3 rounds under par (67,69,68) followed by a one over par round on the final day for a total of 275. Second gross went to Scott MacPherson.
The 3 players qualifying for the 2nd Junior team to take part in the BCGC Pro-Am are Gabriel Hughes, Mark Griffin and Calum Lingie.
