Paul McKechnie wins Bothwell Pro-Am

With an outstanding score of 64, Paul McKechnie  of Braid Hills wins the Bothwell Castle GC Pro-Am by 3 shots.

In joint 2nd place were Jonathan Lomas (Caprington), Craig Matheson (Falkirk Tryst), Paul O'Hara (N. Lanarkshire Leisure) and Gareth Wright (West Linton) who was one of last year's joint winners.

Paul is a regular player at the our charity event and his excellent performance would I'm sure please his coach, our own professional Alan McCloskey, who also had a good day guiding Bothwell Castle Juniors into 2nd place in the team event.

There was an excellent turn out on the day with proceeds going to St Andrew's Hospice Clinical Care. A great day for all who attended, with some good scores in challenging conditions.
